The Forlorn Beast

Final Boss of Alzheimer's

The Hallway
In the heart of Forgotten Fortress lies a meandering pathway that leads through a maze of memories lost and time obscured. The hallway is filled with remnants of the past, scattered and fragmented, fading in and out of existence. This corridor of confusion winds its way to the chamber of a being trapped in a never-ending cycle of forgetting: The Forlorn Beast.

Final Boss: “The Forlorn Beast”
The Forlorn Beast is a haunting creature that looks as if he were once a dignified man but has since become a shadow of his former self. His appearance, now a grotesque amalgamation of human, ape, and cat, is both regal and beastly, symbolizing the dehumanizing experience of Alzheimer's.

His eyes, once sharp and filled with wisdom, now bear a feral and distant look, clouded by confusion and a primitive despair. His movements are awkward and uncertain, more akin to a wild animal than the composed being he once was, and his voice has transformed into a guttural growl, filled with a haunting uncertainty.

He is adorned in tattered remnants of garments that hint at a time long past, echoes of a nobility that has eroded away. His surroundings, though filled with objects and images of bygone days, seem as out of place as he himself does in the world he once knew. He is a guardian of memories that have slipped into oblivion, a reflection of a mind losing its grip on its own identity, morphed into a beast that symbolizes the tragic loss of humanity.

Ultimate Abilities
Fading Grasp: He can make objects and even people momentarily disappear, reflecting his own struggle with disappearing memories.

Time's Confusion: He can manipulate perceptions of time, causing confusion and disarray among his opponents.

Echo of the Past: He can summon shadowy figures from his own forgotten memories to aid him, though they may be as unpredictable and fragmented as his own recollections.

The Backstory
Once a wise and mighty ruler, the Forlorn Beast’s life changed forever when the shadow of Alzheimer's began to cloud his mind. Memories once cherished became fragments, slipping through his fingers like grains of sand.

His kingdom, his family, his very identity became a maze of confusion and despair. Unable to rule, unable to remember, he retreated to Forgotten Fortress, a place that echoed his own fragmented mind.

Now he stands as a tragic figure, a guardian of memories lost, trapped in a cycle of forgetting, a symbol of the relentless and unforgiving nature of Alzheimer's disease.
